Authenticity Guarantee
AUTHENTICITY COMES FIRST
Eyewear Closet is a registered U.S. business and independent retailer of designer eyewear. We hold a valid resale certificate that allows us to purchase merchandise for resale as part of our retail operations.
As a family-run business, our reputation means everything to us. We have worked hard to earn the trust of our customers, and we take every review, recommendation, and returning customer personally. That is why authenticity and product condition are our highest priorities.
We stand behind the authenticity of every product sold on Eyewear Closet.
Eyewear Closet is an independent retailer. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or an authorized retailer or representative of the designer brands featured on our website. We independently purchase and resell their products through our network of third-party suppliers and distributors. Brand names and trademarks are used solely to identify the products we offer for sale.
HOW WE SOURCE OUR EYEWEAR
We work with established third-party eyewear suppliers and distributors.
This sourcing model allows us to offer eyewear from many different designer brands while maintaining a broad and frequently changing selection. It also gives us opportunities to purchase selected merchandise at competitive prices and pass that value on to our customers.
Our approach is focused on selection rather than volume.
Instead of purchasing large quantities of the same model, many styles in our inventory may be available in only a few pieces. This allows us to continually add different brands, models, colors, shapes, and new arrivals to our collection.
Our inventory is updated regularly, so even when a particular style sells out, there is always something new to discover.
When selecting inventory and suppliers, authenticity and product condition are essential requirements. If a product raises authenticity concerns or does not meet our condition standards, it does not become part of our new retail inventory.
EVERY PAIR. THREE CHECKS.
Every pair of eyewear we sell goes through three separate stages of hands-on inspection before reaching our customer.
1 — UPON ARRIVAL
When new inventory arrives, each pair is individually inspected by hand under dedicated lighting.
We examine the frame, lenses, temples, hardware, markings, overall condition, packaging, and included accessories. We check for scratches, damage, manufacturing defects, inconsistencies, or anything else that does not meet our standards.
We also review available product identifiers, including the model, color code, UPC, and individual serial number or production identifiers where applicable.
If we identify a defect, damage, or authenticity concern, the item is removed from our new retail inventory and returned to the supplier.
2 — DURING PHOTOGRAPHY
Much of our eyewear is photographed by our own team as part of our inventory process.
This isn't only about creating product images. It gives us a second opportunity to physically handle the eyewear and examine the details of each frame closely.
If we discover a scratch, defect, damage, or another concern during photography, the item is removed from new-product inventory.
3 — BEFORE SHIPPING
The third inspection happens after an order is placed.
Before packing, we once again inspect the frame and lenses, verify the product against the order, check its condition and included accessories, and make sure nothing has been damaged during storage or handling.
Only after passing this final inspection is the eyewear packed and prepared for shipment to our customer.
PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION
Designer eyewear includes specific product identifiers that help distinguish each model and, where applicable, individual units.
The same model in the same color and size may share the same UPC, which identifies that particular product configuration. In addition, all designer eyewear products include an individual serial or production number assigned by the manufacturer.
These individual identifiers help distinguish one pair from another and can be used as part of the product identification and authenticity verification process.
At Eyewear Closet, we record available product identifiers as part of our inventory and order records. This allows us to accurately track the products we sell.
NEW MEANS NEW
Products offered as new on EyewearCloset.com are intended to meet our standards for new merchandise.
If we discover damage, scratches, defects, or other condition issues during any stage of our inspection process, the item is removed from our new-product inventory.
We do not place merchandise that fails our new-product condition standards back on Eyewear Closet.
When you purchase a product represented as new from Eyewear Closet, our goal is simple: what arrives at your door should match the condition and description you saw when you placed your order.
PACKED WITH CARE
The experience shouldn't end when you click Place Order.
Each product is shipped with the original branded accessories provided with that particular item. Depending on the brand and model, this may include product documentation, a branded case, cleaning cloth, box, or other accessories. Packaging and included accessories vary by brand and model, so the exact contents depend on the individual product.
Once the eyewear has passed its final inspection, we carefully prepare it for shipment.
The eyewear and its branded packaging are placed inside an additional protective shipping box. The package is then placed inside a protective outer plastic bag to help keep it clean and protect it from dirt, moisture, and weather exposure during transit.
We know packages travel through many hands before reaching their destination. That's why we take extra care with every order — so opening your Eyewear Closet package feels just as special as choosing your new pair.
From our shelves to your door, every detail matters.
